Data deletion

pourquoi.app stores no app data on any server. All your answers and settings are stored locally on your device (iPhone or Android). You therefore directly control the deletion of this data.

1. Delete all app data

Deleting the app erases all local data (answers, settings, widget on iOS).

iOS

Long-press the pourquoi.app icon on your Home Screen.
Choose Remove App, then confirm.

Android

Long-press the pourquoi.app icon.
Choose Uninstall or App info › Uninstall.

2. Revoke usage permissions

iOS — Screen Time

Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen Time.
Select See apps that have access.
Remove access for pourquoi.app.

Android — Usage Stats

Open Settings › Apps › Special app access.
Select Usage access.
Remove access for pourquoi.app.

3. Cancel the Premium subscription

Cancelling the subscription is independent from deleting local data:

iOS: Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Android: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or via play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

4. Request deletion of data we may hold about you

We do not keep a server-side user database. The only information we may hold is what you voluntarily sent us by email (support request, feedback). You can request its deletion at any time by writing to contact@pourquoi.app from the email address you used.

If you had accepted Firebase statistics (§ 2.4 of the Privacy Policy), revoking consent in app Settings stops any new collection. Data already sent to Google is subject to Firebase retention periods (typically a few months) and is not linked to the website.
